Birder's Dashboard

There are six versions of the Birder's Dashboard:

All world for full-screen devices (desktops, laptops, etc.) - birddash.net/

All world for mobile devices (phones, some tablets, etc.) - birddash.net/md

US & Canada for full-screen devices (desktops, laptops, iPads, etc.) - birddash.net/us/

Mobile users may find it convenient to add an icon to their phone's home screen to get to the dashboard quickly.

If you have an iPhone, here are directions for adding an icon to your homescreen:

1. Open up Safari and load the dashboard version you want to have on your homescreen.

2. At the bottom of the screen you'll see an icon depicting an arrow that looks like it's trying to get away from a square. This is the "Share" button.

3. Tap this button and you'll see a few options. The one you want to tap is "Add to Home Screen".

4. You'll be asked to choose a name for the homescreen icon. Choose a name and save it. When you're done, the dashboard icon will show up on your homescreen and you can tap this icon to get directly to the dashboard.


If you have an Android phone:

1. Open up the Chrome browser and load the dashboard version you want to have on your homescreen.

2. At the top of the screen , you should see the url (http://birdingwashington etc.). To the right are three vertical dots. If you don't see this at the top of the screen, try scrolling up and it should appear.

3. Tap the three dots. A list of options will appear, including an option to "Add to Home screen". Tap this option.

4. You'll be asked to choose a name for the homescreen icon. Choose a name and add it. When you're done the dashboard icon will show up on your homescreen and you can tap this icon to get directly to the dashboard.
